RICA

RICA is the abbreviation for legislation that makes if mandatory for all new sim cards to be registered to individuals. As part of this registration process, cellular service providers need to ensure sim cards are linked to an individuals green bar-coded ID as well as his proof of residence.

RICA requires a "face-to-face" verification. This means that the person that a sim card is allocated to, must be seen face-to-face by a RICA agent. For this reason, our couriers will have to deliver orders to the person who's name is on the contract. Deliveries cannot be accepted by any friends or family members.

Fortunately, all our customers will automatically be RICA'd before their devices are activated. When you buy from us, as part of the delivery process, the courier will need to inspect your original green bar-coded ID as well as an original proof of address (not older than three months). We'll take care of the rest to ensure when your line is activated, it's automatically RICA'd. Easy!
