• Paperwork for individuals

  In order to process applications for individuals, we require the following documents:

  • Copy of your green bar-coded ID (or passport + work permit if you're a foreign national)
  • Copy of your proof of physical residence* (not P.O. Box and not older than three months)
  • Proof of income (pay slip not older than 3 months or 3 months of bank statements**)
  • Proof of banking details (if your pay slip doesn't mention your banking details)
  • 3 months bank statements* (mandatory for foreign nationals - very helpful, but not mandatory for SA citizens)

  * The proof of physical residence can be a utility bill, letter from parent or landlord, or even an affidavit signed by a commissioner of oaths.

  ** Bank statements must be the original statements posted by the bank or bank statements with a bank stamp. Internet statements are not acceptable. Please provide the most recent bank statements that you have available.
  

  
  

  Third party payments

  Should you wish for direct debit payments to be made from a "third party's" bank account (perhaps your spouse or parent's), please provide us with:

  • a copy of the ID of the third party
  • a signed and completed third party debit order authorisation

• Paperwork for corporates

  In order to process applications for corporates, we require the following documents:

  • Completed and signed Dionysus Cellular/Nashua Mobile corporate application form
  • Click to download application form for businesses with turnover less than R3m
  • Click to download application form for businesses with turnover more than R3m
  • Letter on letterhead confirming the order
  • RICA acknowledgement - all pages need to be initialled
  • Copy of ID of person placing the order
  • Copy of proof of business residence (not older than three months)
  • Business registration documents (eg. CK1)
  • Proof of VAT registration (if applicable)
  • Proof of banking details 
  • 3 months bank statements* (not mandatory, but it will have speed up processing your order)

  * Bank statements must be the original statements posted by the bank or bank statements with a bank stamp. Internet statements are not acceptable).

  Yes, we know this is a lot of paperwork! Unfortunately there's no way we can get around this. We assure you, if you went into a cellphone shop, or even if you were brave enough to call up a call centre, they'd ask for the same paperwork.
