May 15, 2012
So, how’s this for a recoil effect? HTC was somewhat silent for the second half of 2011 and this is clearly the reason why. Sense 4.0
This is the latest and greatest Sense that Google and HTC have to offer, yet. The gleaming lockscreen has been improved, sealing its spot as the most handy, most customisable lockscreen on a smartphone. By default, it has four shortcuts and a ring at the bottom, which you drag towards the centre of the screen to unlock the phone. You can also drag one of the shortcuts into the ring to unlock the phone and launch the corresponding app (any four apps can be assigned to the lockscreen).
The HTC One X comes with eight different lockscreens. Apart from the old ones, there are two newer ones: ‘Productivity’ and ‘People’. Productivity basically lists the latest missed calls, texts, emails and scheduled events. People lets you choose a group from your phonebook and a rectangular grid of their contact images will pop up on the lockscreen. Grab one of them and drop them on the ring to view their details. Now that’s convenient!

Wrap-up
We are very impressed with the HTC One X, which is not only astonishingly compact for its screen size and feature set, but also every bit as dominant as the quad-core chipset inside will have you believe. It's extremely easy to suggest the One X to those in search of a cutting-edge smartphone – its specs and design combination can't be matched by any other device currently on the market. Tegra gives you access to exclusive games, the HD display is something extraordinary, and according to HTC, it has the best camera that they have ever made!
