September 05, 2011
The Samsung Galaxy SII (S2) is being hailed as the best smartphone by Samsung – although some would argue it to be the best smartphone ever!
Weighing a meagre 116 grams, this is Samsung’s lightest and slimmest smartphone. It also has a slimmer, more powerful battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 boasts impressive voice command capabilities as demonstrated in their advertisement below:
Download speeds of 21Mbps allow Samsung Galaxy S2 users to experience PC-like browsing.
A “social hub” brings together contacts, calendar and email with Instant Messaging and Social Networking Sites (like Facebook and Twitter) onto one convenient screen. Staying up-to-date and organised as well as keeping in touch with contacts is effortless with the Samsung Galaxy S2.
The Super AMOLED Plus display allows you to experience sharper images and smoother graphics. With super-fast response times and superb contrast ratio, the 4.3 inch display is Samsung's most colourful and brightest screen.
Camera and video
The android device (running Gingerbread) has a 4.3 inch screen and 8MP camera. While most smartphones require you to download your pictures (usually to a pc) to edit them, the Samsung Galaxy S2 allows you to edit the images and videos directly from your smartphone.
Accelerometers are commonplace in smartphones, but Samsung has upped the ante with the Galaxy S2. The S2 combines the functionality of the accelerometer with simple hand gestures to create some really cool features.
